Pumpkin Hemp Seed Mylk

My recent obsession has been pumpkin seeds, I’m using them in everything….  We  just launched a pumpkin seed mylk at Local juicery and I could be more excited! It’s delicious, creamy and last at least two days longer than your typical homemade nut milk. I use it in my smoothies, teas and coffee. My husband will even use it in his cereal and oatmeal. My little boy loves it too. Win all around.

Pumpkin seeds have many health benefits, they are an anti-parasitic, full of zinc, great for libido and lower in calories than almonds and other nuts. Hemp seeds also are a nutritious little seed! Filled with healthy omegas and digestible protein. This milk is not only good for you but taste amazing too. Add a little cacao and you’ll be sent over the edge. I also make a night time tonic with this by adding kava and lavender oil.

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
6 drops Omica vanilla stevia or 2 tablespoon raw honey
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
4 cups filtered water

Method

Blend seeds and water, stain with a nutmilk bag. Put back into blender add ingredients and blend well. Store in glass jars. Will keep for 3 to 6  days.
