Paleo Superfood Granola

Nut Free // Dairy Free // Oil Free // Gluten Free // Refined Sugar Free

I love cereals and granolas, but the majority of store bought breakfast cereals contain allergens such as gluten and corn or loads of oil.  This is a recipe that taste better (in my opinion!) than store bought packaged options and is really simple to make!  All you need is a dehydrator  (if you don’t have one you can bake it in the oven at the lowest temperature).  If you bake it, it wont be technically raw, but it will be much healthier for you than the other packaged option.

I love this paleo granola paired with a homemade almond mylk or right out of the bag as a snack. The little ones love it!


1 apple, cored and chopped

3 dates, pitted and chopped

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

2 cups hemp seeds

1/4 cup goji berries

1/2  teaspoon maca powder

1 cup coconut flakes

1 cup dried cranberries


Add all ingredients to a food processor and process on high for 30 seconds to a minute.  It should be a little chunky still.  Spread onto dehydrator sheets and dehydrate at 115 degrees for 12 hours or until crispy.  If you’re baking, spread onto baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or till golden brown on 250 degrees.
