BLOOD ORANGE, COCONUT + CITRUS COCKTAIL
When the weather starts getting nice, I start playing with fruits. These blood oranges caught my attention the other day. Totally gorgeous. I also got some organic limes, lemons, grapefruits and oranges from a friends tree.
This recipe is great as it is or you can make it a tad bit naughty (but really nice) by making it a sparkling cocktail. I used 1 cup of the liquid and added 1/4 cup champagne. I’m a total light weight and I don’t really drink, but I love a nice sparkly drink on a warm springtime feeling evening.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
2 young coconuts, water drained and set aside (save the flesh for eating or for smoothies!)
1 bottle of amazing champagne or sparkling wine
Press with a citrus press and combine with the coconut water…. that simple! Add the champagne if you desire. Kick back, relax and enjoy.
