DEEP ROOT JUICE TONIC FOR A FLAT HEALTHY TUMMY

This is a juice recipe from my book Raw + Radiant. It’s perfect for this time of year when things can get a little stressful with the holiday season. This juice has ginger and turmeric for a super immunity boost. I also add in probiotics to mine so my gut is getting a total healing. You’ll notice black pepper is in the recipe, it helps the turmeric absorb and be used by your body.

This juice is great for bloating, which can happen around the holidays with all the gluten being passed around. Sip this in the morning to calm and sooth your tummy.

Ingredients
  • 1 small thumb turmeric
  • 1 small thumb ginger
  • 5 large carrots
  • 1 beet, peeled
  • ½ cup coconut probiotic (I use this body ecology)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Juice turmeric, ginger, carrots, beet and black pepper. Pour the probiotic into a blender with the juice or stir in by hand. Enjoy!
